Your next great hire starts here

20 years of expertise
Why employers choose us

A committed partner, not just a vendor.

20 years knowing the Connecticut and Northeast talent landscape — who's available, who's not, and how to reach the people who aren't looking.

We work exclusively on a direct-hire basis. No contractors, no ambiguity. Every candidate is vetted, pre-screened, and matched to your role — not just your keyword list.

Because we're a small, specialist firm, you work directly with Keith Murphy from day one. The owner remains involved throughout the engagement. The person who understands your business is the person making the calls.

We know our market

20 years as a local-area specialist means we know what works, who works, and how to find the right person.

We're small — by design

Personalised service isn't a buzzword here. It's the only way we know how to work.

We always work for a win-win

Every client gets our most qualified candidates. Every candidate gets an opportunity worthy of their talent.

Our process

Simple. Thorough. No surprises.

01

We learn your business

We start with a detailed intake — role requirements, team dynamics, culture, and what's tripped up previous searches. The more we understand, the better the match.

02

We identify the right candidates

We tap our 20-year network alongside active sourcing. We pre-screen thoroughly — presenting a smaller number of higher-quality candidates, not a stack of CVs.

03

We manage the process end to end

From first outreach to offer acceptance, we stay involved. That includes feedback loops, interview coordination, and offer guidance — so nothing falls through the gaps.

Our sectors

Deep expertise across three disciplines.

Engineering

We place engineers across aerospace, electronics, and industrial manufacturing — from CADD and design through to quality and process improvement.

Common questions

Everything you need to know before we talk.

We work on a contingency basis for most direct-hire placements, which means you only pay a fee when we successfully place a candidate who accepts an offer. The fee is agreed upon before the search begins and is based on the placed candidate's first-year compensation. We also offer retainer services when the client's timeline requires it.

Timelines vary depending on the role, seniority, and how specific the requirements are. For most technical and professional roles, you can expect to be reviewing qualified candidates within 2–3 weeks of engagement, with placements typically completing within 4–8 weeks. Roles that are genuinely difficult to fill — niche specialisations or senior leadership — may take longer, and we'll set realistic expectations upfront.

Our primary focus is Connecticut and the broader Northeast — New York, Massachusetts, and surrounding states. After 20 years operating in this region, our candidate network here is deep. We can extend searches nationally when a role requires it, but our real strength is local market knowledge.

A good intake conversation is the most valuable thing. We'll want to understand the role in detail — not just the job description, but why the position is open, what the team looks like, what's tripped up previous candidates, and what success looks like at 6 and 12 months. The more context you give us, the better the match we can make. You can kick things off by filling in the form below.

We treat all search mandates with full discretion. We do not share candidate details with other clients. When we approach candidates on your behalf, we position the opportunity carefully to protect your identity until there's genuine mutual interest.
